Seamless steel pipe for low temperature is suitable for pipeline engineering in low temperature environments. Specially engineered for cryogenic applications, these pipes maintain exceptional toughness and structural integrity in extreme cold environments down to -196°C (-320°F). The production process mainly involves cold drawing and hot rolling.
These pipes undergo subzero Charpy testing and cryogenic hydrostatic tests to guarantee performance under thermal contraction stresses. Emerging 9% Ni steel pipes now enable even more economical LNG solutions.
